Who we are
At Dorwood we are producers of firewood and kindling with a focus on quality, and on large European and overseas B2B clients. Our aim is to be recognised as the firewood supplier who can provide what most other suppliers cannot: a complete array of products, certified, on time! As it is not all about business, we are convinced that a company has to provide a benefit and an example in the local community, hence we strive day after day to be a better place for our employees, fellow citizens, suppliers, partners, and all the stakeholders in general. Yes, even our competitors!
What we do
We produce firewood and kindling from logs to packaged and bundled product, dried, certified, and delivered wherever the client needs it.
How we do it
At Dorwood, we believe in quality. We really, strongly, believe in quality. And we believe in consistency even stronger. We are deeply convinced that delivering consistently a high-quality product is even more important than being able to offer it in the first place. In our daily operations, there is a group of suppliers that we consider our favorite ones: they are the ones that “we can forget about”; in the same way, we like to think of ourselves as the supplier that our clients can forget about. Have we agreed on something? Product, timing, place of delivery, colour, anything? No need to think about it anymore: you can be confident that the agreed will be delivered.

Our reach is international
Our expertise in the firewood market dates back over twenty years. Members of our team have studied at leading European universities and speak six languages cumulatively. We are in direct touch with the key players in the sector all over the EU, and together with them we analyse the trends, be it in product design, in customer needs, distribution channels, packaging… We like to put ourselves in the shoes of our clients and of final consumers and learn something new and useful every day.
Our service is complete
Some might call firewood a relatively simple product, and that would not be a lie; but there is a large amount of details to it, and Dorwood tries to cover them all for our clients. We are sustainable
All of our wood is sourced from FSC-certified forests, we are certified too so the chain of custody is kept downstream to our clients. We are virtually waste-free, as all our scrap wood is re-used in pellets, brikettes, or as fuel in the production process.

Our product range is significantly broader and deeper than most similar companies, and we strive to keep it growing.
